Retail Sales Assistant Part-Time
Required skills/experience:
- strong customer service skills
- previous experience in retail preferred especially sales of footwear.
- passion for running or outdoor pursuits
- knowledge of biomechanics and running footwear an asset but not essential.
- self-motivated and able to work alone.
- understanding of social media and e-mail marketing an asset
Job description
- retail sales of running shoes and apparel
- inventory management
- assisting with product selection
- using POS and processing payments of various kinds
- utilizing specialist product knowledge
- monitoring and updating sales display areas.
- opening and closing store.
- using social media to promote and market store
- assisting at local events
- organizing and participating in our run club and clinics on a regular basis
